2K Games announced today that BioShock 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the 2007 Game of the Year, is now available worldwide for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system and Games for Windows-LIVE. Building upon the original game that shipped more than three million units worldwide, BioShock 2 delivers a single and multiplayer video game experience that is both an artistic achievement in entertainment and a highly addictive first-person shooter.

BioShock 2 is a first-person shooter video game developed by 2K Marin and Irrational Games for the Xbox 360 video game console, the Playstation 3 console, and the Windows.  2K Games has released a new gameplay movie for BioShock 2, showcasing this first person shooter sequel in the works at 2K Marin, 2K Australia, Digital Extremes and 2K China. Set approximately 10 years after the events of the original BioShock, the halls of Rapture once again echo with sins of the past. Along the Atlantic coastline, a monster has been snatching little girls and bringing them back to the undersea city of Rapture.
